A dreamy trip to the Cotswolds in November for our very first Black Friday content shoot.
As a UK-made brand, where better to showcase our products than in one of the most beautiful parts of the English countryside?
The Cotswolds gave us the perfect setting...soft light, golden tones and timeless scenery. And although it was November, the sun stayed out all day, making it feel like a warm summer escape.
The reality of building a brand
Starting your own business means learning something new every single day.
You’re not supposed to have it all figured out and you definitely don’t need to be perfect at everything. That’s something I’ve really had to remind myself.
But when it comes to creativity… that’s where I truly feel at home.
Bringing the vision to life
For this shoot, I wanted to create something that felt different.
I designed a custom Embrace Beauty newspaper to feature our Black Friday offer 20% off. I created it myself on Canva, and honestly… it turned out even better than I imagined.
It added such a unique, editorial feel to the shoot and made the content feel more elevated and intentional.
The people behind the moments
My friend Maddy came along to help capture as much content as possible and it made the whole experience even more special.
There’s something so meaningful about having people around you who support your vision and show up for you. It turned what could have been “just a shoot” into a memory I’ll always hold onto.
It was both of our first time visiting the Cotswolds, and it’s genuinely one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been.
The result
Our Black Friday weekend became one of our most successful to date.
The content we created on that trip went on to achieve some of our highest engagement across socials which just shows the power of creating something with intention.
It wasn’t just a successful shoot it was a reminder of how far Embrace Beauty is coming.

This is only the beginning.
